Frontiers of
Infrastructure Finance

Where the money comes from, what it costs, who carries the risk, and which instruments move a project from proposal to tarmac. ICFIF 2026 gathers academics, policymakers, financiers, and industry leaders to confront the barrier that slows every nation's growth: the non-availability of infrastructure finance.

Where finance meets the built world

Infrastructure is the engine of development. For most developing nations — and for India in particular — the binding constraint is not demand for infrastructure but the finance available to build it, which is why privatisation and public–private partnership have moved to the centre of the policy conversation.

ICFIF 2026 brings together researchers, industry, government, and policy on one floor to exchange evidence and build a working roadmap for infrastructure creation and financing in the developing world, with a focus on transport, power, water, and emerging sectors.
